Cravath Publishes Quarterly Review on Q4 2020 Trends in M&A, Activism and Corporate Governance

In January 2021, Cravath published the latest edition of its Quarterly Review, which examines the Q4 2020 M&A, activism and corporate governance landscape. The Review provides an overview of activity in those areas, highlights notable cases in the M&A space, shares trends in activism activity, and notes key developments in corporate governance over the period. The Q4 2020 edition reviews continued strong global M&A activity during the quarter and highlights major activity in the technology, media and telecommunications sector in 2020. The Review also notes a strong year for private equity despite the COVID‑19 pandemic and a significant rise in special purpose acquisition companies (“SPACs”).
