Cravath Ranked Among Most Innovative U.S. Firms by the Financial Times

On November 3, 2011, Cravath received several recognitions in the annual “U.S. Innovative Lawyers” report by the Financial Times. The Firm was named among the “FT Law 25,” which ranks innovation in the legal sector based on the originality, rationale and impact of a firm’s work.

Cravath received the highest ranking (“stand-out”) in the Corporate Law category for its role defending a hostile takeover bid for client Barnes & Noble. The Firm also received a “stand-out” ranking in the Litigation category for challenging subject matter jurisdiction for client Vivendi in one of the largest securities class actions ever to go to trial.
