On September 1, 2015, Law360 published an article entitled “1 Firm Stands Above The Rest As August M&A Activity Slows,” which highlights Cravath’s string of M&A deals in the month of August totaling approximately $70.5 billion. The article notes the Firm’s role on three of the month’s five largest deals, including representing Precision Castparts Corp. in its acquisition by Berkshire Hathaway, Cameron in its acquisition by Schlumberger Limited and AGL Resources in its acquisition by Southern Company.
