Dave Kappos Authors Article for World Economic Forum on Three Ways to Improve Global Patent System

Cravath partner David J. Kappos authored an article entitled “3 Ways to Improve the Patent System and Protect Inventors,” which was published on the website of the World Economic Forum on June 24, 2019. The article examined how reforms to the global patent system can empower inventors and drive value creation for small enterprises, particularly in developing countries. Dave writes that the keys to doing so are putting in place mechanisms to translate ingenuity into intellectual assets, build local patent professions and make it affordable to file patents abroad.
