Dave Kappos Recognized as an Intellectual Property Trailblazer & Pioneer by The National Law Journal

On October 27, 2014, Cravath partner David J. Kappos was honored in The National Law Journal’s inaugural “Top 50 Intellectual Property Trailblazers & Pioneers” feature recognizing practitioners who are “raising the bar” in intellectual property law including copyright, patents, trademarks and licensing. The accompanying profile of Dave highlighted his early career successes, including his leadership of the United States Patent and Trademark Office through a time of transformation and his implementation of the America Invents Act, which created the first major international treaty on copyright in a generation.
