Dave Kappos Speaks at Michelson IP and OpenStax IP Education Webinar

On March 3, 2021, Cravath partner David J. Kappos participated in an IP Education webinar hosted by The Michelson Institute for Intellectual Property and OpenStax, a non-profit initiative based at Rice University that offers free, openly-licensed digital textbooks. Dave, who served as the executive editor of the textbook The Intangible Advantage: Understanding Intellectual Property in the New Economy, discussed the addition of that publication to OpenStax’s digital library, the importance of including intellectual property considerations in business education and ideas for integrating IP content and lectures into business courses.
