Dave Kappos Speaks at PLI’s 2019 Post‑Grant Patent Trials Conference

Cravath partner David J. Kappos participated in “USPTO Post‑Grant Patent Trials 2019: New Challenges & Tactics,” a conference presented by the Practising Law Institute and held in New York City on September 11, 2019. Dave spoke on a panel entitled “The State of the U.S. Patent System” as a featured speaker alongside the Hon. Randall R. Rader (Ret.), former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The panel discussed the increased globalization of patent litigation, recent changes at the USPTO’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and issues of IP protection abroad.
