Dave Kappos Speaks at the 2022 Leahy Institute of Advanced Patent Studies Conference

Cravath partner David J. Kappos spoke at the 7th annual Leahy Institute of Advanced Patent Studies Conference, which was hosted virtually by the Naples Roundtable from March 16-18, 2022. Dave, who serves as chairman of the Roundtable’s advisory board, delivered opening remarks and moderated a panel which discussed whether the patent system in the United States encourages innovation and competition in key fields including artificial intelligence, healthcare diagnostics and biopharmaceutical drug development.
