Dave Kappos Speaks at the 23rd Annual Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference

On April 8 and 9, 2015, Cravath partner David J. Kappos spoke at the 23rd Annual Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference presented by the Fordham Intellectual Property Law Institute and the Emily C. & John E. Hansen Intellectual Property Institute in Cambridge, UK. Dave gave the plenary speech covering “IP and China,” which addressed China’s evolving intellectual property policies and practices, including issues pertaining to bio/pharma disclosure requirements, utility model patents, indigenous innovation, judicial developments and trade secrets. Dave also spoke during the “Patent Openness and Transparency” session, covering the value of improving the accuracy and transparency of patent assignment data.
