Dave Marriott and Lauren Moskowitz Chair and Evan Chesler Speaks at PLI’s Trial by Jury 2022 Program

On October 20, 2022, Cravath partners Evan R. Chesler and Lauren A. Moskowitz participated in “Trial by Jury 2022”, a program held by the Practising Law Institute in New York. Lauren and partner David R. Marriott also co‑chaired the event. Evan spoke on a panel entitled “Your Witness: Conducting a Killer Cross‑Examination,” which explored how to control the courtroom, witnesses and the testimony, reinforce a case through cross‑examination, and manage difficult witnesses. Lauren delivered opening remarks and spoke on a panel entitled “Ethical Considerations in Jury Trials,” which reviewed how to avoid ethical pitfalls, ways to prepare a witness without coaching and handling issues involved with using jury consultants and investigating jurors.
