Dave Stuart Authors Article on the Importance of Internal Reporting of Compliance Violations

An article authored by Cravath partner David M. Stuart, entitled “Addressing Employees’ Perception That Internally Reporting Compliance Violations Is Futile,” appeared in the August 10, 2016, issue of The FCPA Report. In response to the significant increase in the number of whistleblower tips that the SEC receives each year, Dave discusses the ways that companies can enhance incentives for internal reporting of compliance violations from employees, decreasing the likelihood of abrupt external disclosures.
