DreamWorks Animation Forms Joint Venture to Establish Oriental DreamWorks

On February 17, 2012, DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. announced its agreement to form a joint venture with China Media Capital, with plans to include Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Alliance Investment, Ltd., to establish Oriental DreamWorks, the leading China-focused family entertainment company. Cravath represented DreamWorks Animation in this transaction.

The Cravath team included partner Faiza J. Saeed and associate Kirkie Maswoswe on corporate matters and partner Lauren Angelilli and associate Albert Chang on tax matters.
