Evan Norris Authors U.S. Chapter for GIR’s 2021 Americas Investigations Review

Cravath partner Evan Norris authored a chapter entitled “How US Authorities Obtain Foreign Evidence in Cross‑Border Investigations” for the 2021 edition of the Americas Investigations Review, which was published by the Global Investigations Review. The chapter discusses the tools that U.S. enforcement authorities use to obtain evidence located in foreign countries, with a focus on recent developments such as the entry into force of the U.S.‑U.K. bilateral data‑sharing agreement, the first such agreement to take effect under the 2018 U.S. CLOUD Act.
