FactSet’s Sale of Market Metrics Business to Asset International

On May 23, 2016, FactSet Research Systems Inc., a leading provider of integrated financial information and analytical applications, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its market research business that is focused on advisor‑sold investments and insurance, consisting of Market Metrics and Matrix Solutions, to Asset International, a portfolio company of Genstar Capital, for approximately $165 million. Cravath is representing FactSet in connection with this transaction.
