Faiza Saeed and George Schoen Named Dealmakers of the Year by The American Lawyer

Cravath partners Faiza J. Saeed and George F. Schoen were featured as “Dealmakers of the Year” in the April 2019 issue of The American Lawyer. Faiza and George were selected for the annual feature in recognition of their roles advising The Walt Disney Company in its $85 billion acquisition of Twenty‑First Century Fox, Inc. The American Lawyer highlighted the deal’s “novel layers of complexity,” which included overcoming an interloper bid, completing a spinoff and divesting assets in order to secure regulatory approval.
