Financial Times Ranks Cravath Among Most Innovative North America Law Firms

On December 4, 2014, Cravath received several accolades in the annual “North America Innovative Lawyers” report by the Financial Times. The Firm was named among the “FT 40,” which ranks innovation in the legal sector based on the originality, rationale and impact of a firm’s work. Cravath’s work in three matters ranked among the most innovative in the Corporate & Commercial and Finance categories.

In the Corporate & Commercial category, the Firm was recognized for its work on behalf of Life Technologies in its sale to Thermo Fisher Scientific. In the Finance category, Cravath was recognized for its role in developing an innovative financing structure for Crown Castle’s public offerings of common stock and mandatory convertible preferred stock and its role in creating a dual‑covenant structure for RJS Power Holdings LLC’s high‑yield senior debt offering and senior secured revolving credit facility.
