First Solar, Inc.’s Registered Secondary Common Stock Offering

Cravath represented First Solar, Inc. in connection with its $596 million registered secondary common stock offering. First Solar, Inc. is a manufacturer and seller of photovoltaic solar modules with an advanced thin‑film semiconductor technology. The shares were listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. The transaction closed on September 21, 2020.

The Cravath team included partners Erik R. Tavzel and Joseph D. Zavaglia and associates Aashim Usgaonkar and Benjamin J. Barocas on capital markets matters, and partner Christopher K. Fargo and associate Brittany A. Milano on tax matters.
