Freeport‑McMoRan’s $1.5 Billion Registered High‑Yield Senior Notes Offering and $1.5 Billion Cash Tender Offer

Cravath represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities, BofA Securities, BNP PARIBAS, Citigroup, HSBC, Mizuho Securities, SMBC Nikko, BMO Capital Markets, MUFG and Scotiabank, in connection with the $1.5 billion registered high‑yield senior notes offering of Freeport‑McMoRan Inc., a leading international mining company with a global portfolio of mineral assets, significant oil and gas resources and a growing production profile. Cravath also represented the dealer managers in connection with Freeport‑McMoRan Inc.’s concurrent $1.5 billion cash tender offer. The senior notes offering closed on July 27, 2020 and the cash tender offer closed on July 28, 2020.
