George Schoen Host Webcast on Hedge Fund Activism

On June 18, 2013, Cravath partner George F. Schoen hosted a live webcast entitled “Hedge Fund Activism: Post‑Crisis Reemergence,” presented by the Practising Law Institute. The program discussed the common characteristics of activist targets and common activist themes, the role of structural defenses and the stages of an activist engagement and tactical considerations in engaging with hedge funds.
