George Schoen Speaks at PLI’s 2016 Shareholder Activism Conference

On December 9, 2016, Cravath partner George F. Schoen participated in “Preparing for Shareholder Activism: What You Need To Be Doing Now,” which was presented by the Practising Law Institute and held in New York City. George spoke on a panel entitled “What Should Boards Be Doing Now About Activist Shareholders?,” which discussed the importance of preparedness, the role of conventional takeover defenses and stages of an activist engagement.
