Cravath’s London Office Moves to 100 Cheapside

On October 20, 2014, IBM and GLOBALFOUNDRIES Inc. announced a definitive agreement under which GLOBALFOUNDRIES plans to acquire IBM’s global commercial semiconductor technology business, including intellectual property, world‑class technologists and technologies related to IBM Microelectronics. Cravath represented IBM in connection with this transaction, which is subject to the satisfaction of regulatory requirements and customary closing conditions.

Cravath is representing IBM in connection with the transaction.

Cravath represented IBM International Capital Pte. Ltd (“IIC”) and International Business Machines Corporation (“IBM”) in connection with IIC’s $5.5 billion registered notes offering. IBM is a guarantor of the notes. IIC is a wholly owned finance subsidiary of IBM, a globally integrated innovation company, serving the needs of enterprises and institutions worldwide. The transaction closed on February 5, 2024.
