On August 27, 2008, Ricoh Company, Ltd. announced that it will acquire IKON Office Solutions, Inc. for $17.25 per share, or approximately $1.6 billion in cash. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions, including IKON shareholder approval and regulatory approvals in the U.S., the European Union and Canada.
