Jelena McWilliams Speaks on the Regulatory Landscape for Financial Institutions at 2023 Bankers Association Conventions

In September 2023, Cravath partner Jelena McWilliams spoke about the regulatory landscape for banks and financial institutions at three annual conventions, which were hosted and co‑hosted by the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT), the Community Bankers Association of Oklahoma (CBAO), and the National Association of Industrial Bankers (NAIB) and the Utah Association of Financial Services (UAFS), respectively.

At both the IBAT’s and the CBAO’s annual conventions in Frisco, TX, and Oklahoma City, OK, respectively, Jelena was the featured speaker for fireside chats on the current regulatory environment. At the NAIB and UAFS’s Annual Convention in Park City, UT, Jelena spoke on a panel entitled “Prospering in the Current Climate,” which focused on the current state of financial services and banking in the United States.
