Jennifer Leete and Evan Norris Author Chapter in Global Investigations Review’s Third Edition of “The Guide to Cyber Investigations”

Cravath partners Jennifer S. Leete and Evan Norris authored a chapter on the complex regime of multinational data protection laws in Global Investigation Review’s third edition of “The Guide to Cyber Investigations,” which was published in June 2023.

The chapter, entitled “Regulatory Compliance in the Context of a Cross‑Border Data Breach,” was featured in “Part I: A Typical Cyber Investigation.” It provides an overview of the challenges global organizations face when trying to assess breach notification obligations and other regulatory requirements following a cross‑border data breach. It also shares observations on the future of the broader data security compliance and enforcement landscape.
