Jennifer Leete Serves as Co‑Editor of Global Investigations Review’s 2023 “Guide to International Enforcement of the Securities Laws”

Cravath partner Jennifer S. Leete and practice area attorney Lindsay J. Timlin served as co‑editors of Global Investigations Review’s third edition of the “Guide to International Enforcement of the Securities Laws.” Jennifer and Lindsay co‑authored the introduction to the guide as well as a chapter entitled “Basic Anatomy of Enforcement Investigations in the United States.”

The chapter provides an overview of investigations conducted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including discussion of the SEC’s methods of gathering evidence domestically and internationally, the whistleblower program, the Wells process and the role an investigated party’s cooperation plays in the resolution ultimately recommended to the Commission.
