John Buretta Speaks on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement at NYU

On April 4, 2014, Cravath partner John D. Buretta participated in “Deterring Corporate Crime: Effective Principles for Corporate Enforcement,” a conference sponsored by the NYU Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement and the American Law Institute. John spoke on a panel entitled “Non‑Monetary Corporate Sanctions: Appropriate use and content of structural reforms and monitorships,” which discussed the necessary groundwork for the execution of a structural reform, such as a compliance program or monitorship.
