John White and Andy Pitts Chair Securities Offering Seminar

On April 11, 2012, Cravath partners John W. White and Andrew J. Pitts served as Chairs of “Securities Offerings 2012: A Public Offering: How it is Done,” a seminar presented by the Practising Law Institute and held in New York City. The program discussed the recently enacted JOBS Act. John chaired three panels, entitled “Introduction to the Law of Securities Offerings,” “Preparing Your Registration Statement, Negotiating the Underwriting Agreement and Offering Mechanics” and “Follow-Up Discussion of The JOBS Act: Private Practitioners’ Perspectives on the Dialogue with the Senior Staff and on Provisions Applicable to Public Offerings.” Andy chaired two panel discussions, entitled “Due Diligence and the Offering Process” and “Important Financial Statements and Accounting Disclosures.”
