John White Moderates and Jennifer Leete Speaks at USC and FEI’s 43rd Annual SEC and Financial Reporting Institute Conference

Cravath partners John W. White and Jennifer S. Leete participated in the 43rd Annual SEC and Financial Reporting Institute Conference, which was co‑hosted by the University of Southern California’s Leventhal School of Accounting and Financial Executives International on June 11‑12, 2025, in Los Angeles. The conference hosted industry leaders, accounting executives and policy setters from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board to discuss recent SEC and financial reporting issues. John is Chair of the Institute’s Advisory Council.

John had a wide‑ranging keynote fireside chat with SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda, in which they explored his views on SEC activities in the financial reporting, accounting and auditing arena. John also moderated the panel that followed, entitled “Current SEC Developments and Financial Reporting Updates,” which featured Heather Rosenberger, Chief Accountant in the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance. Jennifer participated in a lively panel discussion exploring SEC enforcement priorities and recent SEC enforcement actions which featured Ryan Wolfe, the Chief Accountant in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.
