John White Moderates Workshop on Evolving Role of the Auditor

On March 12, 2012, Cravath partner John W. White served as a moderator of a day-long workshop of investors and buy-side analysts, as well as audit committee members and preparers, sponsored by the Center for Audit Quality (CAQ). Representatives of the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) observed. The workshop focused on the “Evolving Role of the Auditor” and explored investor needs with respect to Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) disclosure, earnings releases and key performance indicators.
