John White Receives IFLR Award

On March 25, 2010, Cravath partner John W. White received the International Financial Law Review’s inaugural award for contribution to regulatory reform in the international markets. This award recognized John’s work while Director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance relating to foreign private issuers, including the elimination of reconciliation for issuers using International Financial Reporting Standards, the revision of the cross‑border tender offer rules, the promulgation of new deregistration rules and the streamlining of the SOX 404 requirements. Cathy Kinney, former President of NYSE Euronext, presented the award.
