John White Speaks at Financial Executives International’s 2023 Corporate Financial Reporting Insights Conference

On November 14, 2023, Cravath partner John W. White participated in Financial Executives International’s Corporate Financial Reporting Insights Conference, which was held virtually from November 13‑14, 2023. John moderated a panel entitled “PCAOB Perspectives Panel,” which included Barbara Vanich, the Chief Auditor at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. The panel reviewed the PCAOB’s current standard setting priorities, inspection findings and stakeholder outreach activities, including to audit committees. The panel also focused on the impact of technology on the financial reporting function and how digital auditing and technology have changed the reporting landscape.
