Jon Katz and Michael Arnold Speak at IBA’s 2023 Corporate Governance Conference

Cravath partners Jonathan J. Katz and Michael L. Arnold participated in the International Bar Association’s 8th Annual Corporate Governance Conference, which was held from December 7‑8, 2023, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jon spoke on a panel entitled “Pay for Performance and How to Disclose It,” which reviewed the varying practices of variable remuneration and its disclosure across jurisdictions, the typical explanations including metrics and targets used, and outcomes achieved. Michael co‑chaired a session entitled “The Digital Board,” which examined emerging trends in corporate governance in the digital world and how a digital‑literate board and good governance practices can prepare a company to survive cybersecurity threats.
