Julie North Appointed to the Commercial Division Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of the State of New York

On June 9, 2020, Cravath partner Julie A. North formally accepted her appointment to the Commercial Division Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.  Established in 2013 by then Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman, the Advisory Council consists of lawyers, current and former members of the judiciary and in-house counsel.  Julie was appointed to the group by Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, and will join the Advisory Council in providing advice on matters involving the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York in an effort to meet the litigation needs of the business community and state economy.
