Kinove German Bondco’s High-Yield Senior Secured Notes Offering

June 22, 2011

Cravath represented Kinove German Bondco GmbH in connection with its €355 million and $350 million high-yield senior secured notes offering. The proceeds of the offering were placed into escrow and will be used to finance the acquisition of the carbon black business line of Evonik Industries AG. Kinove German Bondco GmbH is an indirect portfolio company of private equity firms Rhône Capital and Triton. The notes were listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. The transaction closed on June 22, 2011.

The Cravath team included partner David Mercado and associate John L. A. Kicken.
