Kuwait Investment Authority’s Agreement with Investcorp

July 27, 2009

On July 14, 2009, the Kuwait Investment Authority (the “KIA”) entered into a share subscription agreement with Investcorp Bank B.S.C. (“Investcorp”), a public shareholding company organized under the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Pursuant to the agreement, and as part of a $450 million private offering, the KIA will invest $100 million in Investcorp in exchange for preferred stock.

The lawyers involved in this transaction include partner Minh Van Ngo.
