Law360 Names Cravath a 2019 “Competition Practice Group of the Year”

February 20, 2020

On February 11, 2020, Cravath was featured by Law360 as a “Competition Practice Group of the Year,” for its work on high‑stakes antitrust litigation, including its role in ending a two‑year suit between Apple and Qualcomm with a settlement that “exemplified how Cravath has successfully fought to protect some of the biggest businesses in their respective marketplaces.”

The litigation was highly complex, involving multiple jurisdictions and dozens of claims and defenses. But, as Partner Richard J. Stark explained, the Firm’s approach was to focus on straightforward contract claims and the simple theme that “a deal is a deal.”
