Leggett & Platt’s Registered Senior Notes Offering

Cravath represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities, MUFG Securities Americas, U.S. Bancorp Investments and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with the $500 million registered senior notes offering of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated, a designer and producer of various engineered components and products worldwide. Proceeds of the offering were used to pay down commercial paper indebtedness incurred to finance the acquisition of Elite Comfort Solutions, Inc. The transaction closed on March 7, 2019.
