On March 18, 2021, National Grid plc (“National Grid”) announced that it has agreed to acquire Western Power Distribution, the UK’s largest electricity distribution business, from PPL Corporation (“PPL”) for an equity value of £7.8 billion, and that National Grid has agreed to sell The Narragansett Electric Company, Rhode Island’s largest electricity transmission and distribution service provider, to PPL for an equity value of $3.8 billion. On November 10, 2020, Ulta Beauty, the largest U.S. beauty retailer, and Target Corporation announced a strategic, long‑term partnership to transform the beauty landscape with Ulta Beauty at Target. The “shop‑in‑shop” concept will offer established and emerging prestige brands online and debut at more than 100 Target locations nationwide starting in 2021, with plans to scale to hundreds more over time. Cravath is representing Ulta Beauty with assistance on certain matters from Foley & Lardner LLP in connection with the partnership.
