Mike Schler and Steve Gordon Speak at Consolidated Tax Return Regulations Conference

On February 28, 2012, Cravath partners Michael L. Schler and Stephen L. Gordon participated in “Consolidated Tax Return Regulations,” a conference presented by the Practising Law Institute and held in New York City. Mike spoke on a panel entitled “Unified Loss Rules,” which discussed the rules that disallow losses on the sale of stock of a consolidated subsidiary. Steve spoke on a panel entitled “Acquisition and Separation Issues in Consolidation,” where he addressed recent developments for spin-offs and similar transactions.
