Cravath represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, in connection with the US$550 million registered debt offering of Murphy Oil Corporation, a worldwide oil and gas exploration and production company. The transaction closed on August 17, 2016.
The Cravath team included partner William V. Fogg and associates Andrew M. Wark, Daniel R. Satin and Tamara S. Smallman on securities matters; associate Antje Hagena on tax matters; and senior attorney Annmarie M. Terraciano on environmental matters. Nicholas Kypriotakis also worked on securities matters.
