News Corp’s Acquisition of Remaining Stake in British Sky

On June 15, 2010, News Corporation (“News Corp”) announced its proposal to the Board of British Sky Broadcasting Group plc (“BSkyB”) to acquire the shares of BSkyB it does not already own for approximately £12 billion ($17.6 billion). Cravath is representing BSkyB as U.S. counsel in connection with this transaction.

The Cravath team included partners Richard Hall and David Mercado and associate Brandon R. DeFrehn on corporate matters and partner Rory O. Millson on litigation matters.
