Cravath partner Noah Joshua Phillips, Co‑Chair of the Firm’s Antitrust Practice, was interviewed by Goldman Sachs Research for the November 25, 2024 issue of its “Top of Mind” report. The “Top of Mind” report discusses macro developments that are top of mind for investors, executives and policymakers. In the interview, Noah spoke about the workings of U.S. antitrust policy, drawing on his experience as a former Commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission, and reflected on the future of the FTC and DOJ under the new administration. Noah predicted that “an underappreciated but consequential issue to watch will be how regulators’ approach to remedies evolves.”
