Rich Clary Chairs Complex Litigation Conference

On September 25, 2012, Cravath partner Richard W. Clary served as Chair of “‘Bet the Company’ Litigation 2012: Best Practices for Complex Cases,” a conference presented by the Practising Law Institute and held in New York City. In addition to delivering the opening remarks, he spoke on a panel entitled “Removal and Remand,” which focused on recent developments and the impact of the Federal Courts Jurisdiction and Venue Clarification Act of 2011. Rich also moderated a panel discussion entitled “View from the Bench,” in which state and federal judges discussed coordinating among courts in different jurisdictions and utilizing court rules to maximize efficiency.
