Rich Clary Participates in The Putney Debates 2018

Cravath partner Richard W. Clary participated in “The Putney Debates 2018,” addressing the experience with federalism in the United States and how it might relate to proposals for moving the United Kingdom to a federalist system. The Debates were sponsored by the Foundation for Law, Justice and Society and Oxford University, and held in London on February 2, 2018. Rich’s remarks from “The Putney Debates 2017,” addressing the Founding Fathers’ views of deliberative representative government, were published this past fall as a chapter in the book “Constitution in Crisis: The New Putney Debates.”
