Richard Hall Serves as Contributing Editor of The Legal 500 2019 M&A Country Comparative Guide

Cravath partner Richard Hall served as contributing editor of The Legal 500’s 2019 Mergers & Acquisitions Country Comparative Guide. He authored the U.S. M&A Q&A chapter and a “Hot Topic” article entitled “‘Politics by Other Means’ and the Weaponization of Global M&A,” which identified a number of headwinds facing cross-border M&A despite a strong 2018, including the use by national governments of regulatory tools to advance domestic political and trade agendas. Richard cited trends in Asia, Europe and North America.
