Richard Hall Speaks on Activist Investing in Europe

On June 2, 2014, Cravath partner Richard Hall, Head of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice for EMEA, participated in “The Growth of Activist Investing in Europe 2014,” a conference presented by ArrowCon Partners LLC and held in London. Richard spoke on a panel entitled “Risk Mitigation Strategies for Potential Activism Targets,” which discussed best practices for activist investing preparation, such as establishing a working group, conducting a periodic self‑assessment of a company’s risk profile, managing board dynamics and legal and structural considerations, among other topics.
