On July 20, 2010, an article co-authored by partner Roger G. Brooks, entitled “Interpreting and Enforcing the Voluntary FRAND Commitment,” was posted on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) website and will be published in the International Journal of IT Standards and Standardization Research (IJITSR). The article discusses the standardization process including ‘fair, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory’ (FRAND) terms and conditions, and its effect on patents.
