SEC Closes Accounting Investigation Against DreamWorks Animation

Cravath represented DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. in an SEC investigation into its writedown of film inventory relating to the 2013 animated feature film Turbo. In July 2016, the SEC concluded its investigation without recommending any enforcement action. Cravath also won the dismissal of a related shareholder class action against the company, which is currently pending on appeal. (Please click here for the news item about the litigation.)
