SEC Interpretive Release on Climate Change Disclosure

On February 5, 2010, Cravath issued to its clients a memo entitled “SEC Interpretive Release on Climate Change Disclosure.” The memo discusses the practical implications and framework of the Release, while suggesting that the greatest significance may prove to be in the consequences of bringing climate change disclosures under the main umbrella of the SEC’s integrated disclosure requirements found in Regulation S-K.
