Cravath represented the underwriters, led by BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan Securities, U.S. Bancorp and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with the US$800 million registered senior debt offering of The Sherwin‑Williams Company, a developer, manufacturer and distributor of paint, coatings and related products to professional, industrial, commercial and retail customers primarily in North and South America. The transaction closed on July 31, 2015.
The Cravath team included partners William V. Fogg and Andrew J. Pitts and associates Nicholas A. Dorsey and Arthur L. Lotz on securities matters and associate June Hwang on tax matters.
